APPLICATION FOR CHESS CLUB INSTRUCTION 2007-2008

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Scholastics Chess Association (CMSCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of scholastic chess in Charlotte area schools.  A chess teacher will be available on an equitable, rotating basis to visit all chess clubs in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.  The purpose of these visits will be to provide chess instruction to club members and to share ideas with club sponsors on how to organize a successful chess club.  We will support and enhance your existing club; however, we are unable to be chess club sponsors.

To have a CMSCA teacher visit your school’s chess club, please fill out this application.  The greater flexibility you can provide in your club meeting dates and times significantly increases the opportunity for more frequent visits by the CMSCA instructor.  The information requested will also assist our organization in providing support to your club.  If you require additional space to answer any of the questions, please attach another page.    Please type in the necessary information and email your form to Matthew Noble at mnoble65@msn.com   or mail to the above CMSCA address.
