Bernard Baker teaches chess in the Charlotte, North Carolina and Rock Hill, South Carolina areas. He has been playing chess for 36 years, since the age of 11, and has been teaching Chess to thousands of children and adults since 2003. He has taught students from age 4 through senior citizens, and serves as a chess instructor for the Charlotte Youth Chess Club. Bernard is the 2004 North Carolina State Chess Champion (U1800), and the 2004 North Carolina Class Champion (U1800).
