15TH ANNUAL CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP 2
All our Tournaments and other activities/events are open to all youth through 12th grade. This includes students who are homeschooled or in public, private, or parochial schools from any location across the USA.

REGISTRATION:

Online registration is preferred; registration and payment via Paypal (credit card or
bank account) will be accepted through
evening on day prior to the start of the tournament. Registration on site is between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on the date of the tournament.
Registration after 8:45 a.m. will result in a 1st round bye. Cash, credit card, and checks accepted.

3SS: Open, Under 1400.
4SS: Under 1000, Under 750, Under 500, Under 250.
(We will use the most recent USCF Rating Supplement and/or most current rating.)

ROUND TIMES:

Open, U1400: 9:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
U1000, U750, U500, U250: 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
Award Ceremony to follow approximate end time of each section.

Quick and Regular.

ENTRY FEE:
|
$30 if pre-registered by the evening before tournament.
On site registration is $35.00 before 8:45 a.m. on the date of tournament.

PRIZES:
|
Open: 1st place $125, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50, Best U1600 $50.
U1400: 1st place $100, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $30, Best U1200 $30.
U1000, U750, U500, U250: Trophies to top three, medals to any tied for last trophy place.
Prizes are subject to change based on number of entries.

BYE REQUESTS:

One half-point bye allowed, except in the last round. Registration after 8:45 a.m. uses this bye for round one. We must be notified in
advance of byes. Byes will be posted for pre-registrations on the web and on the wall charts after each round; correction requests
are the responsibility of the player.

OTHER INFORMATION:
|
This tournament is open to scholastic and collegiate players 22 years old and younger.
All sections are open to scholastic players; collegiate players are invited to play in the Open section only!
All participants must have USCF membership current for the duration of the tournament (expiration date of Sept 2018 or later). Membership can
be purchased at the tournament. For information on fees or to apply online, go to the USCF website.
Please bring chess equipment and clocks. Concessions and chess equipment will be available for purchase on site.
